Meet Yasmin of Yaslani.etsy.com

Meet Yasmin of Yaslani.Etsy.Com.

I asked Yasmin how she got her shop name, and she replied, "My name is Yasmin and my daughter is Leilani…hence the Yaslani!". Yasmin also told me that she grew up in the 80's and some of her influence was the pop culture of the time.

She also said, " I’m just having a good time. My job as an artist is to make art I love. When someone looks at my artwork I want them to find their own story. The pendants that I make are to make people look cool and pretty."

I've included two photos from Yasmin's shop.
" Citywalk" (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6809254)
Is a 4x6 mixed media canvas made with hand painted wooden giraffe and elephant along with paint, paper and all sprayed with a non-yellowing varnish. It's fun and cool. I love how the different patterns were all incorporated and are fun.

"Conversation" (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6809354)
This is a 4x6 mixed media canvas is made with hand painted wooden giraffes and layers of paint and paper.
The colors are warm and inviting and would look wonderful combined with Citywalk also.
