It's the day when according to an old Irish tradition, women can propose to men. I always thought that option was available perhaps 365 days out of the year, but still, gotta mention the hoopla about today.
For me, it's mostly an extra day to get more things accomplished before the end of the month. Maybe I'll shake things up a bit and ask my husband to marry me, again. I'm not sure if this is true to the tradition, but perhaps I'll get a hearty chuckle out of him.
