Time for Freud

Christmas is over and perhaps Santa brought you a little pocket change to burn. Personally, I have a "thing" for cool watches and lighting. This one caught my eye. It's a Dr. Freud watch with different words rotating at the top..".id, envy, sex, Dad, Mom" and more.

Freudian thoughts~ good for a smile and lucky you, it's in analog. I still prefer them over digital. You can find them of course at the Unemployed Philosopher's Guild website. One of my favorite haunts.

Watch These Watches

Time for a new watch? Have you considered "outside of the box" styles?

I found this one on http://www.tokyoflash.com 's website. It's called The Infection. Funny how these little multi-colored pulsating cell-like shapes do a good job of illustrating the name.

If you're like most people, you might be asking, "where's the clock face?" Well, it's right in front of you. You read it by the colored shapes. The red ones stand for the hours, the yellows for sets of five minutes and the green ones equal one minute increments. So you just need to be able to add or multiply by fives. A little more complicated than what we're used to, but the novelty might just be worth it.
