Ad-xactly!
I saw a blog post about Dominic Jones Jewellery and this current advertising campaign It has a strange sense of high fashion eeriness that rather appeals to my sunshine and unicorn typical aesthetic. Although I can't always see the actual jewelry, I do see gorgeous photography and lines of the models. Watch how the lighting reflects and highlights, while their bodies are posed so well. There are all these neutral tones and textures that work so well together. Well done!

AdSense on Blogs?

Does it make sense to use AdSense?
That's what I want to know.
I've been debating whether I want to have ads on my blog. I'm not sure that I do, but it's probably time to consider it.
So my friends, I'm asking you...do you use it? How do you like it? Are the financial returns worthwhile?
Or do you take advertising on your own? Does it work for you?
I know that usually I'm showing you websites or telling you about tools and other things I've found, but this time I'm asking you for your input. I'm really on the fence about having advertising. And even more so, wondering which kind to have if I do so. Please tell me your opinion on the topic.
See you tomorrow for more glass and creativity fun.

BUST Magazine Product Showcase Advertising Opportunity

Are you familiar with BUST Magazine? It's a young, hip (slightly edgy/feminist) magazine for primarily 20 - 30 something year old women.
BUST has a "Product Showcase" advertising section in it. The above is a sample of what the ads look like. They reach 400,000 people and cost $150. You include your website, your product name and price as well as the photo. That's it. It's 1 1/4" wide and 1" tall. Here's what I like, you can pay by Paypal. I don't know how many spaces are left, if any. It's important to first analyze whether your product fits these demographics. Grab an issue of the magazine, or at least go online to check it out. If it does, then good luck!
I advertised in the December issue and have received one great response. So if you find an issue, look for my white puppy dog bead in the product showcase.
Anyone else know of some wonderful advertising opportunities?
